The outside recreational area covers 4.5 fenced acres immediately adjoining the main hall and has direct access to the coastal footpath, foreshore and private land, paths and bridleways. The shingle beach is constantly changing, sometimes building, sometimes eroding. Whist the beach mainly shingle there are patches of sand. The beach is accessed by a steep sandy path that heads down 50 metres through the dunes. A barbeque/picnic area is provided with seats and tables; a water standpipe and electric floodlighting makes this an ideal campsite amidst mature trees and shrubs.

course and climbing and ropework to varying abilities.
500 yards private access from Public highway. Car parking for 100 cars.
Two paddocks for visiting ponies are also available.
