The Warden’s Trust Centre is located in a beautiful spot on the Suffolk coast, giving you plenty of things to do and see. Whether you just want to relax and get away from it all or you would like to explore we think you will find just what you are looking for.


Walks

Six designated walks are nearby, with one wheelchair friendly walk in the immediate vicinity

The Warden’s Trust Centre has direct access to the coastal footpath, foreshore and private land, paths and bridleways. This area of outstanding Natural Beauty is very popular with walkers.


The Beach

beach-wardens-trust-smallThe shingle beach is constantly changing, sometimes building, sometimes eroding. Whist the beach mainly shingle there are patches of sand. The beach is accessed by a sandy path that heads down 50 metres through the dunes.


Games

Adventure course

We have an obstacle course with climbing and ropework to varying abilities.


Picnics

Our Campfire area has seating for 30 people in a secluded, sheltered spot 30yds from the Main Hall.
Enjoy the surrounding area at your leisure. We have supervised access to 2000 acres of private farmland and the beach.


Wildlife, Birds and Wild Flower Spotting

wildlife-wardens-trust-smallThe immediate countryside surrounding the Warden’s Trust Centre comprises heathland, woodland, farmland and coastal scrub. In addition the reserves of Minsmere (RSPB) and North Warren are just a few miles to the north and south.
